The course will take place in Kuopio, Finland, a vibrant city of 120,000 people located in the heart of the country. Kuopio is renowned for its breathtaking natural surroundings, with more than 200 lakes, countless islands, and lush forests creating an inspiring setting. The city comes especially alive in summer, when its lakeshores and islands offer unique opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Known as the capital of the Northern Savonia region and the gateway to the Finnish Lakeland, Kuopio combines a relaxed atmosphere with excellent accessibility. The city is easy to reach by air (3 daily flights from Helsinki, ~1 h), by train (5 daily connections from Helsinki, 4–4.5 h), or by long-distance bus (several options daily, 4.5–5.5 h, including economy services such as FlixBus and Onnibus).
